Overview
================================================================================================

iSCSI boot Option ROM is used for booting computers over an Ethernet network using a network 
interface adapter including Chelsio's T3 based Network Interface Cards (NICs).

This package contains iSCSI based BIOS option ROMs and a cfu flash utility, which can be used 
to flash iSCSI option ROM to Chelsio's T3 based Network Interface Cards.

4. How to Use
================================================================================================

- unzip "iSCSI_option_rom_v2_0_202.zip".
- Create a Bootable DOS Diskette.
- Copy the cfu.exe utility file to the floppy diskette and boot.
- To find the device ID of the card, execute the command:

# cfu -l

- Depending on the device ID of the card, copy the appropriate option ROM.

For example:
If the device ID of the card is 32, choose the file iboot32.rom

- To flash iSCSI ROM execute "cfu.exe -u <Option ROM Image> -d <Adapter
  Number>" command.
- To erase iSCSI ROM from adapter use "cfu -x -d <Adapter Number>".


**NOTE: 
For the iscsi rom to work on Dell 2950 platforms, the expansion rom size has to be set to 29.
The ExpROMsize can be changed from ethtool utility only from Linux operating system.

To check the existing ExpROMsize, the command is:

# ethtool -e ethX offset 0x195B length 1

To change the ExpROMsize, the command is:

# ethtool -E ethX magic 0x38E2F10C offset 0x195B value 0x29
