Chelsio's software provides this consolidation keeping the infrastructure update transparent to the ESX hypervisor. How to Use ================================================================================================ Driver Installation ------------------------------------------------ To install the Virtual-Multi-Port-Software Driver, 1. Power on the ESX or ESXi Host. 2. Put the ESX host in the Maintenance Mode using vSphere Client (Inventory -> Host -> Enter Maintenance Mode). 3. Use command "esxupdate query --vib-view | grep cxgb" to find the ID of already installed Chelsio drivers. 4. Use command "esxupdate -b remove" to remove installed VIB 5. Run the esxupdate command to install Multiport driver using the vib downloaded from Chelsio Website esxupdate -b <.vib> --nosigcheck update 6. Reboot the Host. 7.
